It's California law: front + rear plates required.

They began cracking down a few years back, about same time as that tinting-grade law.

It's not good enough to display the plate on one's dash either. I received 2 parking tix for lack of front plates. (Had to purchase frame structure etc. from dealer)

Car looks good, I've been going almost 4 years without a front plate only got warned once lol.........but I barely drive the car to get into much trouble in the first place.

sorry, i dont have a closeup, but take two peices of L shaped metal brackets and make your own mount, so you wont have to make holes into the bumper.

aliga i love that! im trying to find out if there is a way you can FOLD the licence plate... i know you can still get pulled over but you can tell the cop its not cut, its just folded, they will ususally give you a chance and just tell you to bend it back. I just dont know where i can mount them tho.
