Needs freon maybe, or you might have leaks on the system.

wait...
you need freon to work the heaters? am i getting this? O.o

Freon is for AC.. but im skeptical on the Freon for the heater problem..
because when my system didnt have freon.. yes it wouldnt blow COLD air.. but i can blow as MUCH hot air as i want :\ and it works fast!.. just as long as my engine is hot....

Fill it all the way up while the engine is cold. Start it up with the cap off and let it come up to operating temperature. Once the thermostat opens and the water starts circulating, most of the air that is trapped in the system will escape. You can than top it off and put the cap back on. There will still be some air trapped. Drive it around as you normally do and check you coolant level periodically. Top off as needed until you don't have to do it anymore. It may take a few days of checking and topping off until all of the air is out of the system. Don't forget to examine the two rubber seals on the cap for tears, missing rubber pieces, etc. Good luck!

Got the same problem here. I did notice that it does get hot much quicker if I do very gentle drive around the block. It doesn't work even if I try to rev it (lightly of course!).

Is there a certain type of fluid that needs to be circulated to make the heat work faster? I say this because driving works, but not revving.

oo yea the engine coolant thing.. that IS ur problem just refill and ur ready to go.

yes its the jug that says engine coolant. MAKE sure first if its 50/50 or. the umm condense? regular kind.. if its not 50/50 youll need to mix it with water.. regular water or distilled water is fine.. ive used both :\

when i replaced the radiator.. we forgot to fill the whole thing with coolant.. (forgot to let the engine run, and fill).

well while we were driving it around.. we can see the temp needle rise and NOT stop.. soo we blasted the heaters (well guess what.. it blue COLD!)..

soo when we got back home, let the car cool down a little bit, filled it with coolant, everything started to work fine!. heaters blew hot, engine stayed normal :]
