I take back my previous comment about us getting hit tonite, lol its already here. Its nuts im sitting at work while it was raining and looked back up to a blizzard. Hopefully Ill have better luck with the SC

you dont know how good of an investment snow tires are until you have them on. its like night and day. I got a set of Michelin alpin. definetly would have saved you from that snow bank.

I spent thousands of dollars over the past 5 years up in CT buying winter cars/beaters just to avoid that. The sc is useless in the winter, and further more the rocks/salt screw up the paint bad. Its worth it to me to have another car just to protect my baby

Was the oil pan and rad/condensor fine form the impact?

I'd never drive my sc in that kinda weather... thats why I have a fwd with abs. I'm sure your use to it though in the state your in, happy it wasn't worse.

yea i checked under car and nothing besides bumper got hit....

once i read this thread...reminds me of that kid that crashed his honda into a ditch and used like a chain to try and pull it out.

This is why RWD only belongs in Southern California, Everyone else that lives in a place with bad snowy/rainy weather needs to stick to FWD cars. LOL!

No way I'd drive my SC in the snow. It's slick in rain, much less snow.

I have a Mercedes I won't drive in snow either (but has great trac control so rain is all good).

When it snows...... I take the AWD Jag. 4wd snow drifts baby.......
