I have no prior experience. I just remembered how the old ones were mounted as I removed them.Cost was about $20 for hog ring pliers and a bag of hog rings.

The install is all about removal of seats, disassembly, applying the new leather and re-installing. I used All-Data for disassembly instructions. The first seat took about 4 hours, the second about 2-3. I advise that you consider building up the old foam, since it has shrunken over the years and your new leather may look loose and sloppy if you don't address that. Hog rings work fine and you should have fun and satisfaction on this DIY. I had no real experience when I did mine BTW.
Good luck

My old leather covers don't have the wire for the hog rings. Can I use the flexible wire from Home Depot?
My old leather is not original.
Any suggestions?

Oh great idea... I'll use clothes hanger or look for something thicker.
Thanks for the idea.
I just got started on the rear bottom seat.... So much hog rings to pull out, I have like 6 different kinds of pliers and a Dremel.
