Thats not true!!! If you have CRAP for insurance then it is true and its your fault.
My parents got into a accident a month or so ago in there "Salvage title" van and they got full book on it. So your wrong about that. I just HATE all this crap they blow in your ears just so they dont have to deal with it.

 

If you won't buy it I will! j/k. Stick with your price, 13K is high. It all depends on how much you really want the car.

 

What the seller did was unethical. You had a verbal contract (a promise) and he should have honored the deal. If you must communicate with the seller again just tell them that you want the car but that you want to buy it per the original deal. You have the cash ... he wants the cash. You are in control.

 

I would personally say 13K is not that high. The car is a 97 5 SPEED BLACK ON BLACK PEOPLE!!!!!! Lets face it if you wont buy this one you WONT find another one.

 

the highest i think you shoudl offer is 12.5k even thats high but considering its a 97, 5speed, black on black? it could only be rarer if it was RSP on black without a sunroof..thats top of the line man i'd go for 12.5

 

I would say you stick with the 12k tell him that is what you are willing to pay and your final on it. He probably realized it was a rare car, tried to jack up the price, but then called you back when he realized most buyers don't care if it is a rare color combo. Hell I'm selling a white Soarer with mods and such, about 80k on it for $18k. Some say its too much ect. ect. but it is what people are willing to pay and I'm in no hurry. The guy seems to be though so try to take advantage of that.
