Hey guys. im kinda new to the forums, but i have a really big problem. ive been reading around the forums and have been trying to find something to help me solve this problem, but nothing seems to help. i bought the car about a year ago and the heater AND a/c wasnt working, but it atleast blew some sort of air. about 3 months ago i tried to fix the problem thinking it was maybe just a fuse and replaced it and now nothing comes on. no air, no heat, no a/c. i was thinking that it might be the actualy climate control unit. can someone help me out please? i was thinking about taking it to a shop, but just havent had the time. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem and it was the cigerette lighter fuse. I had a mechanical pencil in there and it blew the lighter fuse which was somehow on the same circuit as the control panel.

I had a similar problem with nothing working. I also noticed my temperature reading didn't work either on the gauge cluster. The backlight of the climate control was on but nothing was showing.
I figured out it was the cigarette lighter fuse wasnt getting a good connections because the previous owner hooked up an electronic device using the fuse as power. So the pins were pushed in. The fuse would make connection sometimes. I tapped it and the temperature started working and climate control worked. But every now and then it stopped. So I used some foil to make the fuse prongs thicker and it has worked fine ever since.

yea im not sure because nothing even works now it doesnt even blow any type of air. it might be the whole unit because i took it to my old auto electrical class teacher and he checked it and said its having a bad connection where the fuse should be. so he says that it might jus be the whole climate control unit all together. does anyone know where i might find one that works and for a good price?
