key would go in but it doesn't turn it.. many people say a new cylinder cant be re pinned??? well first of all our keys dont use pins they use wafers, and second they can be re-wafered. depends on how knowledgeable the locksmith is. so i took out the key assembly and took it to lock smith he took it apart and put brand new wafers in it one of them was broken thats why it wouldn't turn.

have you tried shaking the steering wheel left to right? back and forth a few times?

the wheel is not locked, how do i remove the key cylinder i removed all interior pieces so it is exposed i need to remove it now...

hmmm, I've had this problem before but it was because of the steering wheel. I just shook the steering wheel as I tried to turn the key and it'll turn. Not exactly sure what your particular issue is but it's usually the steering wheel that causes a key to not turn like that.
