Default repainting car, need suggestions on RED color

hey guys, i have a 95 SC300 red/black interior 5spd and the car is in the body shop at the moment and i will be adding the 97 conversion on there while its there and respraying the whole car. my car is currently renaissance red and i wanted to change the color of the renaissance red to another red. some have suggested emola red which is m3 red, absolutely red from the sc430 and others say just leave it as is. please help me out by suggesting and post pictures of the color. thanks. i will post up pictures once the car is finished.

Just leave it the way it is and save your money.

Renaissance red is the nicest red for the SC.

I can't really tell much difference between the M3 red and the SC red other than the M3 red might be slightly darker. I say stick with Renaissance Red or you could choose another clean color.

keep the suggestions coming guys. i have until this weekend or early next week to tell the body shop which color i will be going with. im leaning towards the imola red at the moment since its somewhat is comparable to renaissance red. what do you guys think about the door jams, trunk and engine bay matching with imola red (m3 red)?

"candy apple paint dripping from the frame " LOL

If you are going to just respray I would do it the same color. If you are going to paint the door jams and under the trunk lid etc I would say to go with a different color that would stand you apart like the M3 color.

so you suggest that i respray it the same color? i know the paint will be newer and it will probably be brighter so i can see why you recommend the oem paint.

if you like your current color sure, it might even be cheaper as they would not have to do the engine bay and door jams. if you do change it you are gonna want to get everything done or it will look funny.... i was not a huge fan of the the red you have, i really like metallic colors so i just stayed with my oem color.

unless you are really really super awewsomely excited about a particular color.
which it sounds like you are not.

Always best to go with the same color. you will be surprised how much better it will look even though its the same color. resale value, not painting engine bay/jams/less chance of see through etc.. etc..

the list really goes on and on

or a very similar shade of red. It would be very hard to notice the difference. As for me, I have a garnet pearl. If I was to do the M3 red or even a blood candy, it would not be needed to do the jambs or engine bay because it is very close to the OEM color.

I still like this Imola Red.

Same color, different lighting. If I ever get the money to do this, I think this color is in order. It just feels like a newer upgraded 3k3 for the SC.
