Default Soarer with Tein CST's, Supra LCA's and Work XD9's

I picked up the Soarer about 2 months ago and already had it mapped out what I was going to do to it.

I haven't cleaned it yet since I have had it so I know it's filthy and that I will need to get some better pics taken when it's finally cleaned.

All the bits arrived just after christmas over a 4 week period and I finally got down to get the rims and tires and alignment sorted today.

Rims are the Work XD9's in 18x9 +30 and 18x10 +38. I ended up running with 235's on the front as I had four of them already, and chucked on 265's on the back.

Could have gone larger but I got the 265 in the back to match the slightly stretched look of the 235 in the front.

Tein CST's ride quite well with a much sportier ride than stock. I think a set of swaybars would set this off perfectly. I could have gone a bit lower than the current two finger gap but the car is my daily and it already just catches on speed humps and driveways.

Supra TT brakes on the front as well, make a massive improvement in feel and stopping ability. Might look at doing the rear brakes only because the stock rear calipers look ugly!

Exhaust has been done as well, just waiting on getting some decent tips. Also looking at an LSD at the moment, very tempted. It's a 4.08:1 Torsen from a Supra.

Matt.

Hey, you're off to a great start man. Tein CST's, Works, Supra brakes, all quality parts. Although I am not a fan of red brake calipers anymore since it stands out way too much, it still looks great =D. What other plans do you have for it aside from sway bars and LSD?

Thanks guys.

I will get some tips to finish the exhaust, rear TT calipers, probably do sways and the LSD then there are a couple of interior issues to sort.

Passenger window trim surround has cracked and the LCD needs replacing on the climate module. Both window regulators will need replacing at some stage as well as they are clonky and noisy.

I have removed the reverse beeper and will also lose the door open chime. The drivers door cable loom needs to be removed and repaired as the speakers stop when you shut the door.

Would also like to get a couple of panels resprayed and tidied up and I have motor and trans mounts waiting to go on as well.

I would love to do NOS or a Supercharger for a bit more power but will get the rest of the car sorted out first before doing any more big ticket items.

Looks nice man, glad you went through with the rims. I think if you lowered the front a little more it would be perfect... and then wash it LOL

Nice car, love the works. Is that the standard CST drop or did you make any adjustments to it ?.

needs to be slammed...a lot. the "max one finger rule" man...

the back needs a 20-25mm spacer for flushness. you could have gotten better offsets. offsets in the teens for the rear would have been perfect.

love the car either way though. i would kill for those wheels
