Sorry if I'm coming across as a SportMax hater. SportMax wheels serve a purpose, but I don't think they should be used on a car as heavy as the SC. I think money spent on better good wheels (even if it's a little more) is money spent more wisely.

If you go aftermarket, for style purposes, 18"+ is the way to go for sure. A luxury coupe deserves some stylich wheels. Sportmax wheels may look good, but don't expect any impressive durability or sporty handling from their poor casting methods. But, if you can avoid the pot holes and don't mind just cruising, they are a decent set of wheels for the price.

i know a chick that has a 95 sc300 5sp. sandstone baige on tan. slammed on stances and sportmax 502 wheels. 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 +35 all around in hyperblack. the car is ****. the wheels look amazing and surprisingly they are pretty flush. maybe a small spacer in the rear. none up front needed.
hate on those wheels all you want. i like quality brands too but for college kids that want to go out and beat the crap out of their car driftin i would do it on a 4000 set of work wheels. thats almost the price of my car
thats why i bought some 15" SSR reverse mesh wheels to throw on my car when i go drifting. the width is good and if i screw up the wheel its not a big loss since i paid 100 bucks for them
the only reason i hate on 19's is the cost of tires. 17 are dirt cheap and 18's are good price. 19's are through the roof though. i had a chance to buy some SSR D5R's. they were 19x9.5+35 for 350 for 4 wheels. the only reason i didnt buy them is the cost of tires. now that i think about it i should have bought them and resold the siht out of them
