i dont like those tires. had them on a set of supra tt wheels. they didnt handle too well. i had a set of BFGoodrich T/A KDW and they were gold compared to these yokohamas. the price difference is only like 15 bucks per tire on tire rack too.

they may work better for you but lately none of the yokohamas i have had worked out. i have yokohama AVS es100 on supra tt wheels and they suck. wet traction is not there and the compound is too hard so it doesnt warm up too well. same problem with the avs sport. they are too hard and car would push at the track way too much.

the KDW's were awesome. they wore out rather quickly but the handling was not even comparable.

btw i played with tire pressure with all 3 sets of tires to try to maximize their performance. KDW still came out on top.

We'll see, if they suck I'll replace them with Pirello P-Zeros

My buddy had these on his daily/autocross M3, and they were really good.

That's why I wanted them.

good luck to you with the tires. get back to us with some reviews. i havent looked but i think we should have a thread that only deals with tires. different brands, models, psi settings, applications, and other relevant info. hope i dont get flamed for mentioning this.

I don't see why you would. I think it's a great idea to have that info out there.

There should be FAQ forum for each car. The posts would be locked down so you could only read them. Common problems etc..completed how-tos could all go there.

I stumbled across this tire thread over at SupraForums. Apparently MVP MotorSports loves the AVS Sports on the Supra, and is having a sale on them.
