My wheels are not looking so good and i can't afford a proper set of wheels. I think they would like nice if they were just clean and polished (no more silver paint)with a clear coat. What might this cost, or what would i need to do it? What about the center plastic cap, how could these be matched.

I was just wanting to post a thread asking if stock sc300 chrome wheels were aluminum, surely they would be. Also to answer your question the chrome wheels I was just looking at, had matching center caps.

I prefer polished over chrome, too. I like light or medium polished, highly polished looks too much like chrome to me but I'd still rather have highly polished over chrome. I think polished is a bit more than chrome because I thought about getting some 5-spoke 17s on my old Civic refinished in polished and asked around. If I were you, I'd try to find some used polished wheels locally on craigslist.
