Default Sometimes It Just Doesn't Pay To Leave The House

I went out this past Saturday night to a place called "Club ICE". Okay as you all may know it was ridiculously crowded with the decent weather we've been getting in Ohio recently.

Anyway I see a parking spot at a parking meter that catches my attention. I slightly drove past it just enough so that I could back in and parallel park. Next thing I know, this white Ford Expedition in front of me sees the exact same spot and doesn't notice that I'm behind him. You know what happens next. He rolled the back of the POS on the hood of my baby! I could've killed him, but yet I remain civilized.

I guess he couldn't hear me because he had extremely loud music playing not to mention limo tinted windows which made it harder for him to see the small sports car behind him.

Now here's the part where I hate myself. This guy actually tried to get away and drive fast down the street after realizing he hit me. I looked at him like "are you serious thinking you can out run my car?" I caught him and next thing you know here comes the police......the guy looks so frightened at the sight of the police and asks me can we settle outside of insurance since it was a minor dent. I was dumb enough to actually think there were honest people left in the world and now have to chalk it up because he's dodging my calls!

Never again.

I'm sorry, but you're stupid for trying to "settle" it out of insurance when the guy just tried to run from you and is ****ting bricks from seeing the cops. I mean what did you expect?

I sure hope you got all his information and a police report.

Tell them the honest story that he insisted on avoiding the report and insurance but he's dodging your calls and he's leaving you no choice.

I am an insurance agent, did you get his ins info?
File a police report asap!

The only time you wanna settle this outside of ins is you can get the money from him before he leaves. After the person is gone, 99% of chance they will never return. I seem too many of this!

Wow man that really sucks. Once he left you were screwed, I can't believe how many people fall for the "lets settle this outside of insurance."

you should file a police report as soon as possible. He's probably scared of the police because he had somehting illegal in his car like drugs or something...
