Default SC 400 Windows don't work

need hep with 1992 400 sc. windows stopped working, checked fuses and nada, how to check switches? how to check regulators if in working order.

is it just one side that doesnt work? which side? both windows? give us a little more info and we can help u

Yea more info.

Check to make sure the master switch is properly plugged in. If not its probably your regulators.

See if your passenger side window goes down with the PS switch...if it does but not with the DS control, I think you've found the culprit (and if you've driven with the window down while using the wipers, water dripping in will quickly kill the master switches).

or it could be something as simple as the little blue wire in the door hinge got broke... then u put a piece of wire in between and VOILA! problem fixed... if it works from the PS then its most likely that one wire pulled

I have the same problem, I think its the wiring harness on the door. The wires have become brittle over the years and broke a part.

check the seals, at the end of the door, where your door opens.. water may have seeped threw and created humidity. witch then broke the wires...
