Default extra pugs in center console?

hey everyone. I have a 97 sc400. I took off my shift plate on the center console the other day and noticed that their were two plugs that were not plugged in underneath it. Now one of them went to my extra power switch and the other doesn't have anywhere to plug in to. Am i missing switches or what? And what is supposed to change when the extra power button is on? the green light works in the cluster.

do you have buttons in your center console for heated seat option? if you dont your seats are probably not heated. the easiest way would be to go to the dealer with your VIN number and ask them look p your car. they can tell you all the features that your car came with.

Yes, I believe they made one harness for all SC's and therefore some people have left over stuff. Try and find a black wire with orange stripe that isn't being used - free 12v power wire

Is that an ignition wire or constant 12?

ECT does not mean extra power.
Electronically Controlled Transmission.
When on PWR mode, the shifts are held longer.

Look under the seats and see if there's a matching end. Probably all were wired for heated seats, then it's just a matter of having the right seats, and the switches.
