Default Wheel opinion Thruxtons

Hey i've currently have a sete of 6 spoke G35 sedan wheels 17"
they don't look to bad, someone local is selling some 18" tsw thruxtons though and i'm trying to decide if i'd like them on my SC, couldn't find any pics of them on a SC anywhere.. they are 18x8 and 18x9.5 have 275/35's on the back right now, i'm waiting to find out the offsets, he has them on a 350z.

what do you guys think, getting them for $900 with 70% tread left on tires wheels said to be mint.

Are these still made in South Africa?
You may want to check the quality if so.

I almost got those too. I think they'll look pretty good. It sounds like a pretty good deal on them too. What kind of tires?

never knew that thought tsw where made in europe.. yikes!
i'll have to look at that when i see them in person, have there been some bad quality tsw issue's?

------

falken tires don't know the series
i just emailed the guy to night, i've seen his listing for a few months now local. asking 1k i just offered him 900 tonight and he said that's fine but he's out of town until the 18th of march so i havent seen them in person yet but he's right down the street from me.

sucks $900 out of my swap money lol but i still have enough for my 1jz and already bought all my little things for the swap so i should be good

The lip looks very nice...and big. It would probably look pretty good. You don't like mesh yet? I used to like 5-/6-/7-spoke wheels only but now I'm really into mesh.

yeah i like mesh alot, originally that's what i wanted, lately though i've really been feeling 5spokes i guess.. can't really afford any baller wheels right now unless i get lucky on a used set.. as far as new i was looking at some HP evo's (mesh) or adr's or stern wheels..

i really like the st1's

The lip on those are really sick, do you think the wheels you're getting will have the same lip? Because for an 18x8 and 18/9.5....I don't think the lip would look like that wide.

i think that pic is the 20" wheel with a 5" lip, the rear lip on the ones i'm looking at are 3.5" so still pretty big. here's actual pics

the more i think about the price, i'm thinking about just buying some 18" stern St1's staggered with tires for about 1200 new
