Default Size of Hole for Antenna?

I know one of you has the antenna temporarily off for some reason..can you measure for me the size of the hole that the antenna goes in on the rear quarter panel? I plan on deleting the antenna and installing a flush plug, but am not sure what exact size to buy yet... Thanks in advance!

P.S. I also would like to know if the hole is round or oval shaped.

It is oval. It's not really hard to disassemble or take off the antenna. You need to unscrew the top part of the antenna and 2 screws inside and that's it.

Dang oval? I may have a problem finding a oval rubber plug... I'd measure it myself, but i don't have the tools or the time at the moment to take off my antenna and to re-install it.

All you need is a flat-head screw driver and # 10. Twist the top of the antenna counter-clockwise.

Pair of pliers and a thick rag, does nicely. I have tried the antenna delete some time back, wanting to go with an inside, adhesive type, 12v. powered. Couldnt get reception in the burbs. so I went with a stubby. While I was experimenting with the antenna I cut an oval out of some same color 3'' wide stripeing tape. Worked well for a couple of months.
