A 5speed RSP? Not likely if the people know what they got. Thats one of the rarest combo's and most who own it know it. If so I'd say buy that and flip it.

Honestly I dont like the color even though its rare....


Something to note for future reference....for some reason there are alot of SC's that can be found in Texas and Maryland for low prices.I have searched on graigslist,autotrader and cars.com for sometime and this is theory

For example early last year I found a 98 auto RSP SC for $5k with 80k miles...I was not in the market for an SC at the time though


If you are patient and search long enough deals will pop up

Something very similar happened to me when I was searching for a car. I had my heart set on this 5spd NA-T SC with kouki body pieces and lights all around. Had an appointment all set up to go look at it, and the day I was supposed to look at it, he wouldn't pick up my phone calls, so I emailed him, and finally at the end of the night, I get a reply from him telling me "Oh, I sold it this morning" Freakin *******. haha

Performance Lexus in Cinci had this there 97 5spd RSP SC300(109kmi) on autotrader for 2 days as well as cars.com and ebay. On autotrader and cars and there own website they listed the car for $9k then on ebay it pulled $12.8k with only 8bids....Someone really wanted this car bad! Is this someone here? Congrats to whoever they are.

Possibly the most rare SC (Lexus?) ever made, i would hate to own it though, its irreplaceable and you know some drunk idiot would end up smashing into and totalling it.

There was an RSP for sale in Milford Ohio Mulberry Motors earlier this year. I think it was still available in March or May can't remember exactly without. Checking my email, but I would think chances are pretty good that the car on ebay is the same car. I wonder why the car was turned over so quickly. I think they were asking 11,500 at Mulberry. The auction was 7,600 with 3 hours and 18 minutes to go today. It must have been interesting before the close.

How rare is that. 97? 5 speed? Royal Sapphire??? Did it have a black/tan interior combo? That would be the total package. But I wouldn't buy it. If they made that in a Midnight Indigo Pearl I'd probably jump on it.

I just saw that ad on AutoTrader and was going to call the dealer to leave a deposit then I thought I might check on the forums and see if there were any posts about it. Now I'm disappointed .

Not often you find a RSP 5speed w/ black leather.
