Since everyone will want to know.

I roughed it up with a green pad. threw it in a jar with RIT dye for a few hours. Then I took it out, took a paper towel and dabbed the lettering and the dye got soaked into the towel (because its not porous at all) and then I let it dry. Clear coat on top of it.

Looks great! Did you use satin black or other?

i'm up for spraying my POS tan interior into this rich black interior but the problem is HOW DO YOU TAKE APART THE INTERIOR! haha someone help... I don't knwo where to begin, i don't want to break anymore parts because it's already so fragile and couple pieces are already broken. And any local stores sell SEM paint? I tried many shops around LA but none seem to have it, only have duplicolor vinyl or krayola or kraylon or something paint which isn't gonna cut it

I don't understand how you dyed the buttons without painting over the white lettering. So it was still wet when you dabbed it with a towel?

You need to search, there's a thread how to take them apart.

I like it. Black and tan looks nice, anything other than that stoopid gray/brown with the tan interiors.

Once again, I can't get over how good that spray makes your interior look.
