Default Need someone's Help - VIN # on body panels?

Can someone check their 94-97 SC's and see if there are stickers or etched VIN #s on all body panels and doors?

Yes. Fenders, doors, door jambs and trunk.

And other places as well but that info shouldn't be made public for fear of some non-honest people finding the info via a search.....

Its a tell tale sign of re-paint, re-work.

Is it a sticker that can be peeled off or is it etched in. My entire car does not have the VIN # any where and I would think that all the body panels, doors, trunk, hood have been replaced.

Doesn't matter....either one would have been covered and obliterated with a repaint. If you really want to know if panels were replaced, do a carfax and find out the history of the car. Otherwise, it really doesn't matter where all the other VIN's are as long as the one on the dash matches the title.

Not trying to sound rude or harsh but I haven't got a clue as to who you are so info like that can stay to the people that know.

Carfax shows "jack" if the original owner paid cash or is buddy-buddy with his body man. I looked at a GS430 at a local dealership...no VIN stickers on the fender, hood, and driver door...The thing was hit and repainted...body shop did a great job, but I walked away from it because of the lack of stickers. Carfax said it was fine. After I showed the sticker thing to the salesman, he admitted that they had everything re-done

There should be stickers on body panel and some on secret place from factory. the etch vin is generally for theft countermeasure by third party company (like on windshield, side glass, rear glass, etc, etc)

i have a 95 and 96 sc300. i believe neither of them have vin numbers on the driver's door...unless it's not in the same spot that the passenger door vin number is located.
