Allright I've been on here for a while now and only came across one other person with an RSP SC. But, he had a sunroof and tan interior......I think. I know he had a sunroof for sure. But anyway, I can't find production numbers for my car, I even called Lexus cooprate office. They can't even help me, not really expecting them to anyway. But as far as I know I am the only person I have seen with a RSP SC with no sunroof and all black leather interior. What do you guys think??? Has anyone seen another RSP like mine?? Just curious. Oh and just if anyone is wondering I have a GTE bpu+. Thanks as allways for the input y'all.

 

Oh, one more thing...I have the original window sticker plus checked the vin and it is all original. ie not a repaint or new interior or anything like that.

 

I've seen 3 RSP SC's in my area. 2 had tan interior and 1 had black. 1 tan had no moonroof, and the others did. And I saw 1 RSP blue in the SF bay area. I guess they are really rare, but I get to see rare things a lot.

 

Aries lives up the street from me..I see a RSP/2 tone like everyday...cept she has a sunroof.

 

those rsps are some nice rare cars. i love the two tone black/tan interior though better imo. thats what im going after for my interior

 

I know of one locally that is RSP with black interior. I don't know if it has a sunroof or not.

It takes a true Lexus enthusiast to comprehend the beauty of this car - to most it is a blue/purple car that didn't even come with a sunroof

Im thinking that rsp color is rare for toyota cars (well at least use to be) Totota made sevral other cars with this color code .A couple mkiv supras were also rsp and are also know as rare .I never liked the rsp until i saw one in person in my area...... it is a very nice color indeed.The black and tan interoir is a sweet upgrade from your regular tan or black interior.

 

RSP is overrated. So are "hardtops"

 

I test drove a 97 RSP SC400 a few months ago, it had a sun roof and two tone interior. The body and interior were in poor condition and the guy wanted $15,000 for it, so I didn't buy it. Beautiful color in person.

I've seen a few RSP's...Its rare, but not as rare as worth more money than other SC's

Its only rare to someone who is looking for one.

 

i guess im most people. just a damn purple car going down the street LOL JK im not that mean

amen to that. i would like a hardtop only because i never use the moonroof and want to shed the weight. i dont care about the "rare" factor

if i wanted a nice rare car i would go out and buy my bosses 1979 930 turbo Porsche. and the limited production one too. that way i have a fast street/track car and something rare

 

I would kill for a RSP hardtop with all black interior.

im not hating. to each their own. some poeple would kill for your car while i could care less. i would rather have a garnet red like RedPhoenix or a freshly painted DPW or BMW alpine white SC.

so did you make this thread to see how many people give you props or actually give you their true opinions. dont make a thread asking people opinions if you wont be using them in any positive way.

either way. the car IS rare. but only to the person that is looking for that specific one. to me its just another sc.
