Default Window Problem (Yes, I searched. Yes, I read OLT's Regulator Thread)

Everyone that has had a problem with their window has usually been a regulator problem, but for me, that is not the case. I also see a couple people with the same problem, but no definite answer.

I think my driver side window is working just fine, but my passenger window is the problem. I guess it's not really a problem, but more of an annoyance.

Problem:
Every time i roll down my passenger window, it will roll down just fine about half the way, the other half it just slows down to turtle speed. It sounds like the motor is either trying to work harder to bring the window down or it's dieing half way down.

Bad motor anyone?

Solution:
?

Master switch also controls the pass side electrical since voltage must pass through it to get to the other side. I'd start there by cleaning the contacts and putting it back together.

Also dirt and other crap collects in the grease of the regulators so if the suggestion that OLT made doesn't work pull the regulator out and clean all the old grease out and re grease it

or it could be much worse, like mine. If the wire jumps off the track on little white plastic wheels, this will happen. take off your door panel and see if any of the white guiding wheels are broken or if the wire is off of them.

this is the piece that is destroyed on mine. the wheels are all grinded to pieces and the wheels attatched to the metal bar have part of them broken off...$90 for the whole assembly from algia, and 40 for all the wheels...great price, just havent gotten around to getting em

in my sc my window does that too....try taken off your door panel and trim and the rubbery part that holds the window .... and try it then if thats the case , the window trim is broken and not pressuring the rubbery part so that it stays in place. what happens is when u roll down the window the rubbery part curls and stops the window from going down ....

thats what happen to my window.... try it

Now, that I think about it, it might just be electrical. When i hold both the driver and passenger buttons down its a lot slower than when I just hold the passenger button down. Im going to look at the contacts later
