im kind of dissappointed with the amount of color there is though, im tempted to open them up and possibly do the color mod when I have some free time, but from what I heard It decreases output at further distances. does anyone have pictures of their projectors color modded and whats your input for luminance? like i mean this is beautiful.

It's actually quite satisfying to complete the job yourself and see the fruits of your labor but yeah you got a hell of a deal. What ballast and bulbs came with it? haha this thread should be moved to the lighting forum soon. only one person has commented on the drop!

Wow!!!!!!!!!

Nice drop and retrofit.

I just did the PNP to my SC last mouth and it def makes a difference, but my E39 cutoff blows it away. I'm gonna deline my lens first then move on to the retrofit.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Nice job! Very clean car.

With the de-lining of the lens what grit did you use to sand? I just recieved my brackets (well, still have to pick them up from the post office) so it looks like I can get the ball rolling once again.

started it out with the 600 and got all the visible lines out, moved up to 1500 for about a good half an hour then hit the 3000 and then finished off with meguiars plastix. When using plastix you hafta work it in as if you were sanding to be effective.

you might want to find a alternative to sealing the back... my brother did a tsx retro on his cl and he used this weird yellow playdoh like substance, i forgot the name of it; looks sloppy but does the job. i'll try and get the name of the product.
