When rolling your fenders...
what do you guys do about the black strip that screws on to the lip of the fender? are you still able to attach it after rolling it? do you roll it with it attached? tia.

you take it off before you roll it.
people have done it with attatched and said bad things.
once you roll your fenders there is really no need for the protective plastic peice

rolled rears and cut fronts, rolling was easy, remove the plastic strip and heat the paint and get to rolling

make sure you heat properly otherwise you'll peel!

I was gonna do it, but then i bought a different set of wheels and I haven't had to yet (well see when I drop it). I did research it pretty extensively though.
Pretty much consensus was remove plastic piece, heat it up somehow, and take your time if you care about the paint

15 mins.. and a eastwood roller does wonders in fitting wheels your arent supposed to be able to fit.

heard good things about it , i just use a metal pipe or a baseball bat.

I cut the strips down and left them down lower. Looks clean and finished out. If you want a couple pics I will post them.

i rolled mine with the bat...
it rolled the fender alright.. but also took some paint with it :P hahaha
