it's not guaranteed. It helps depending on the case, but dont expect it to be a miracle. Also, you're going to need a lot more than a few small packs of silica gel. The OEM Acura TSX headlight comes with a 4x4 (around there) pack. For my headlight, I had to stuff a lot in just to get some kind of effectiveness. Even then, it's just a bandaid.
