I have no intention of modding my SC400. I bought it stock and it will remain that way. My "Top 3" list of repairs includes:

1) Replacing the window garnishes for both side door windows. The plastic (underneath the vinyl) has cracked and broken.

2) Replacing the black plastic air vent just to the right of the guages (over the radio). It has two hair-line cracks, probably dired out.

3) Possibly replacing the trunk lifts ... it goes up but will fall on your head in a stiff breeze.


So what are your "Top 3"?

I've only noticed one crack in the vent on the far right on mine.

Mine does this, too. I was thinking it was a combination of the spoiler and the wind but do you think something needs to be replaced? It doesn't look like there are hydralic struts for the trunk unless they're hidden behind the carpet and under the medal body-colored trunk supports.

My biggest thing right now is getting my oil changed. It's at about 6k, mainly because I can't decide which oil to go with. I might just take it somewhere.
