i have a 93 sc300 and the passenger door is stuck will not open frm inside or out, when i hit the unlock button the inside lock thing will say unlocked or w/e but its still like the door is just locked on the inside and out, i took all the doorpanel bolts that i could take off from inside, i guess im going to have to rip off the top of the panel to enter?

I took mine apart last night for the same problem, opens only from the inside. The last time this happened it was a clip from the handle to the rod, which Lexus says is only available with the handle. Not so, if you take a sample in they can match it. I was expecting the same problem, but this time it actually appears to be the latch rod itself, don't know how to fix. Wont stay in position on lock to actuate it.
