Just for comparison I sold my 89 GTR for 10500 CDN with a blown motor. It was very clean with about 60,000 kilometers on it.

I wouldn't do the trade unless you have deep pockets. GTR's are expensive cars to own and maintain. They are awesome cars to drive. People say they are overrated, but most of those people have never driven a GTR. I really enjoyed my GTR while it was running!

Start doing some searching on freshalloy.com, gtr.co.uk and gtrcanada.com for more info.

Hell NO!!! I know its tempting, but the SC is sooo much nicer than any skyline could dream of being. If your looking for trades, how about you trade me your SC for all three of mine, the wrecked one, the shell, and my new one, hows that sound???

I know the wide fenders and bumpers are gtr, but I also know plenty of none gtr's that look just like GTRs
Molding in gtr rear flairs on a gts-t is a much bigger undertaking than buying new bumpers/skirts. But I see your point.

As a skyline owner myself, I can tell you that even though everyone is saying that that car is only an R32, its still an RB26. Which is twin turbo. I would still take the trade. I have had SO much enjoyment out of my RB25. I think its well worth it. Plus, its All wheel drive, all wheel steering.

If you do it, be prepared to never be left alone! I know a few guys with skylines, everywhere they go people are ALWAYS asking questions, even going as far as following them for miles until they stop. Its always good to get a little love for your car, but there is no way I could daily drive a skyline after seeing how damn nuts people go for them!

Thats a good point. If this is going to be a daily driver, than I wouldn't do it.

Definately not my daily driver, that is what my Wrangler and G35 are for. I have had several highly modified MKIV Supras so I am use to the car clowns

D,

You seem very eager to get rid of your SC. It is an amazing car and I am shocked you are wanting out of it so quickly. Although a Skyline is cool - it is fugly.

Put some money into your SC and get it up over the 600rwhp mark and you won't give it up.

What year is your G35?

Jonny

It is an 04 6spd and I hear what your saying, that getrag 6spd has been calling my name. I actually was just thinking of taking a break for a while as I travel a lot these days and the SC doesn't get the drive time she deserves thus the reason I was interested in your LS430. The skyline is just something that popped up as a result of my for sale tread and I am only considering it because unlike the 3 SC300 5spd's I have had, I have never owned an AWD Skyline. It would just be different for a while. I actually would just prefer the cash to a trade, but pockets seem tight for people these days.
