Toyomoto SC300 turbo manifold discount
#31
I think toyomoto is ripping me off
I read that jeff (i think it was jeff) Installed his turbo in about a week time. He said there is a huge learning curve, so someone who has already done it could prolly do it in a weekend. Well Toyomoto said to installt he stage 1 turbo it would take 3 weeks and 2,500 dollars!
If someone is interested in doing a group buy on a bunch of parts from a few different companies to make a turbo kit that will come less then the 5,500 toymota wants, please let me know.

$7000 for a Stage 1.5? Or is that with a lot of extra fuel items?
If we can't find a manifold being sold by itself besides the fmax manifold, then I'm screwed; because I won't waste my money on an entire kit when I can pick and choose parts and order then and come out nearly half price.

I'm with Bean on this, i just want the manifold. Entire kits are just too much, when you can piece it together for alot less. A group buy on any turbo manifold is o.k with me. Please keep us updated. Thanks

Well I never went out after that and roasted it, it's still pulling just as hard as it was then. If you're interested in it, feel free to come drive it, test it, whatever! You could just as easily buy it and pull off all the needed stuff for doing a turbo conversion, and resell the head, block, ecu, distributor, tranny, etc etc etc and make your money back. I don't have the time to try and part it out, and I'm switching over to something that I can get a ton of power from...so I don't need any of this 2jz-ge stuff
