Default Aftermarket rear view mirror?

Anyone here ever purchased an aftermarket rear view mirror for their SC? i like how the new cars has the compass feature as well as the temp and autodimming, just like to know if anyone already has one installed.

Anothing thing. i've test drove an IS300 and the only thing that i liked was the rear view mirror, i'm wondering if anyone know if i can swap my sc one out and somehow connect the wires for everything to work?

Are you looking for something like this http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/nigvisrearvi.html or a direct take off of the IS300?

Did anyone ever find the part number for IS 300 mirror ???? I need one to replace the mirror on my 92 SC 300.

Thanks,

i have a big panoramic mirror that clips on the original. its like a race car mirror. my original is shot and this was a great replacement. its about 3 inches wider then stock and i can see my blind spot from it. the stock mirror in our cars sucks. tiny and useless at best

Panoramic FTW!

At first I thought it was kinda ricey, but now I love it. I get in my Integra now and feel like I cant see anything behind me.

There are a couple aftermarket companies that make nice mirrors with electrochromic dimming, compass, and homelink.

And Donnelly is another brand.

The links posted so far look like like the same mirror used in most of GM's products . Add the onstar button and its the same as the one in our Denali. I would think getting one out of another model Lex could work for auto dimming, but wouldn't there be a harness for the outside temp and compass?

Actually, alot of OEM's share the same mfg for those types of mirrors. Infiniti/Nissan, Mazda all use the same style as those I supplied in the links.
As for retrofitting other Lexus model rearview mirrors, it will be more difficult as the harness for the compass and temperature will not be there. You will have buy all the applicable sensors and wire them in yourself.
