thanks for the love guys, 1jz swap will be started on this week.

still having some small rubbing issues but i think i realized my mistake using 275/40/18 i noticed alot of people use a 35 series in the rear, so i'll probably do that down the road when these tires get worn..

Msteele, yeah man i've got the seats in my extra room right now, i just go in there and condition them every now and then, i'm putting them in when my swaps done. can't wait.

Hated to see and read about the rolling and crack/bondo. That's probably one reason I don't mess with my car that much, because something always goes wrong...it seems, and I know if I tried to do this, I'd probably do the same thing. But the first time is always the hardest. Oh well, after 13+ years (for a '95), most of our paint and bodies probably aren't perfect anyway so a good paint job definitely is a good thing to have done eventually. My paint and body has many, many (too many) light-to-medium scratches, a few small door dings and other normal imperfections but overall the paint and body looks good; nothing too major.

How much horsepower do you think you'll get from the 1JZ? On the tails, did you just cut the red/orange plastic underneath out? Pretty easy to do? They turned out really well. I might be doing it, too, here pretty soon but I've been pretty satisfied with my all-red/clear.

Yeah man i really hated watching my fenders get rolled but it was like either go thru with it and fix the little damage later, or never get to sport any kind of aggressive wheel/tire combo's ..

with the 1jz all i'll have at the start is a intake, 3" downpipe and a boost controller so i'm not sure what to expect, i guess anywhere from 240 to 300whp.
next step of mods is finish out 3" exhaust, FMIC, safc, and a fuel pressure regulator..

thats about all i'm doing to the 1jz until the stock twins give out.

oh yeah on the tails, i fought with that steryne!? whatever that clear stuff is for about a hr, and i didn't like the way it looked so i opted to just take out the red and amber reflectors from the bottom half, (no cutting involved). it's probably a good ideal to buy some red led bulbs for your brakelights before you do this, cause your stock bulbs are white back there..

i bought some from superbrightleds.com think like 7.99 a piece i'll have to check the model, then i also bought amber leds for my turns, that way everything looks clear on the bottom rather then having colored bulbs.

the LEDS are great looking, very bright such a nice red color.
