Yes I remember. Youve got a really clean car haha. Maybe opt for the ol 1j, youll have a few bucks left. And the sound is slightly rediculous.

haha thanks!.... hummm Im still not sure what route i should go down, I had a long discussion with matt of what options I could take.. he talks alot about how the 1j flows better cause it was designed by yamaha but with the .5 litres more of displacement if I ever do decide to go max hp down the road it would make a big difference. i'll think about it when i have the money. being in school doesnt help. which section do you work on in the back? engine? suspension?

Unless your going for a crapload of ponies dont bother with a 2j. If your at the point where you want a thousand horsepower, you'll be able to afford to buy another motor and build it so you can still use your car. Dont worry about making a lot of horsepower till your 159856042% sure your ready. A healthy stock 1J with a good fmic, some boost and a good tune can make more than enough power to keep you happy... or it should at least haha.
I dont know. Matt and I will still both recommend 1J. In the end its up to you.

Beating the tar out of my hooptie;
It was awesome. I was the only one there doing anything sideways. I took an Elise owner out for a spin, all he said after was 'That was wild!'.
And here are a few of that T&E car.
Enjoy.
