I took out stock 4"(dead) and trying to replace with 6 1/2(took out from previous car). does it fit in stock hole? I mean it does fit but not sure if I can close the cover back on. if not I guess I'm gonna get other 4" speaker.

I fit Boston ProSeries 6.5s in the front and rears, though I had to cut a custom baffle for the fronts, but the rears fit perfect. I had to redrill new holes but that's about it. The only thing that MIGHT bulge out is coaxials.

Is there an issue with Ohm ratings on the rear speakers?
I seem to recall that the rear speakers are 6.5" 2 Ohm speakers? Am I correct? I just opened up my totalled Lexus SC400 and noticed they were 4 Ohm but DO remember a conversation with a Lexus technician stating that the 2 Ohms were what Lexus provides.
I do not know the difference, but I do remember that my old SC had bad sound coming from one of thet speakers...
