Well, i sold my NA-T SC300 for $9000 and im looking for something i can daily drive now and not have to worry about keeping it clean etc. My options:

Black on tan sc300 5sp. 200k miles, interior is pretty rough, drivetrain is fine. The guy wants $4000 (keep in mind this is the only 5sp within a 500 mile radius around here). I know the car isnt worth $4000 but its the only 5sp around and im not getting another auto sc300.

Gold on tan sc400. 180k, engine and tranny are likely to be shot. The car itself isnt too bad. Seller wants around $2700. I would likely swap a 2jz gte in this and just bpu it and buy some wheels or whatever with it and make it a decent daily.

What would you guys do? I can always have a car shipped or something so do you guys thing i should broaden my searching span or just sit back and wait for a good deal to come along? Any insight is appreciated.

either one of those sounds fine. have you looked on craigslist and ebay already?

Find a cheap daily driver that's good on gas and wait for something that you know without a shadow of a doubt you want to spend your money on. I have a '95 Integra that's not only nice to drive but gets good gas mileage, and I didn't pay hardly anything for it.

I had a $4000 loan on the red car. I wasnt really trying to sell my car but a guy wanted to buy it for $9000 and i knew i could find a nice sc for $4000 so i sold it and used half of it to pay off the loan.

Its a 92 sc300 black-tan 5sp w/200k. Body is really nice, im waxing it right now and its coming out just as good as my red one did. Ill post pics when i can.
