My dad owns a Z06 currently, so I browse the forum on a regular basis. This is really amazing and I think you all should take a look at this thread on the corvette forum.
The long and short of it is John Hennessey took $140,000 from a guy to modify his Viper GTS, kept his car for longer than he promised, and sold parts off of his car. It is the a must read for anyone who pays anyone to work on your car.
