Default 95 or 97 Tails?

I need a new rear right tail light as it has a crack and condensation forms every time it rains. Should I stick w/ the 97's or go for the 95-96 look?
My car now:

Not a huge fan of the chrome trime in the 97 plus tails myself, so I say 95-96.

I like them both. I think I prefer the 97+ tails personally.

I'd personally stick with the 97+ tail lights. No swapping/modifying bulbs or harness, you'd only need to buy one, and those 97+ tail lights are pretty damn sexy and rare in my opinion. But when it all comes down to it, you gotta do what you like best! Good luck

i have had both on my red SC.

the 97+ chrome works really well on that shiny red we have.
the 95's look dull compared to the color of the car IMO.

95's work on other colors like black SC's

the older lights look good when the bottoms are whited out, but the 97s fit just fine for the later body styles

Why would anyone want to change their 97s to 95s? Usually people with older SCs seek the 97' tails. Not only are they 1000% cooler looking, but they make our cars look 5 years newer. To the 4 people who voted 95:

How funny, no one is every happy with what they got. Everyone with early lights is looking for 97+. I have 97's and want a set of 95-96 to do a clear treatment to. LOL

i say just get another 97+ tail. i like how the entire tail light on the 97+ is completely glossy, compared to the 95-96 which doesn't seem as glossy.
