Hello. Im not too familiar with these cars. But i have been curious on how much My 93 lexus is worth. Its 93 sc300 with a 1jz. BUT the motor needs to be complete. Like everything. It has all new aftermarket parts and turbo. And the harness needs to be put in. I was just wondering if i got craped on when i traded my gsr integra with bolt on parts. How much is the motor and tranny worth or just the body it self? If someone could tell me then that would be great. Thanks

depending on your integra i'd say it might not be a bad trade, Integra's have better re-sale street value normally. earlier this year i sold my immaculate 95 GSR with bolt ons for 6k, and i bought a near mint 95 SC300 for 3200 with enough left over do my 1jz swap and extra..


just all depends on the condition of both, what was done.

a mint 94+ gsr is definetly worth more then a mint 92-96 SC300/400 not in blue book but definetly when it comes down to selling it in real life..

I just had to get rid of my integra when i realized i could have a twin turbo lexus if i sold my teg

the value of a 15 year old car varies a lot depending on the condition/mileage. is your car auto or 5speed?

Its manual. I bought the whole car as it is. It came with the 1jz just bolted in. The body is good and everything else is fine. Just needs to be complete.

Not a lot to go on; put just as a parts car - $2500-4k

Assuming about 1500-2k for the motor (1k) (depending on mileage, leak down, compression) and tranny (5-8hundred) and 1-2k for the car depending on condition. Could be a lot more if everything is nice, title status etc.

A lot of unknown variables though. Just a guess.

yes. the 1jz and manual tranny should put it up there.

Complete with the 1jz with some nice rims and exhaust should put you around 12k imo.

p.s. everyone and their grandma has a honda. Lexus gives you status

I know that i cant get that out of it cause i dont want to put money in it or time. I have other projects that is more worthy of this. This project is a mess. If it was up to me i wouldnt put a 1jz in the car. If your going to go for it then go big! I would have put a 2 jz in it. I just got the car cause i got a 2 for one deal. I have nothing against these cars just the idiots the had the car before me that didnt know what they was doing. So im goin prolly sell it. And if i did buy a lexus I would do everything myself. lol Or should i just part it out?

ya. And i love any car mucsle import anything but i dont know if this car is worthy anymore because of the last guy that had it. It needs some tlc with the motor. And i have to figure out where he left off. And i doubt i can do that before i leave for college.

you can do it, just get a harness and hopefully the ecu is still there.
sounds like it wont take too long and you will have such an easier time selling it.

Although i wouldnt put a 1jz in my sc300, they are pretty great motors actually.
