Thanks for all your concerns, these past 2 weeks have been a real hectic mess in my life. Thank god I got a promotion at work because this accident is setting me back at least 10 large.
So I am in downtown Orlando on a saturday early morning and I am following some people. We are sitting at a red light, waiting for a left turn. Needless to say, I follow, thinking I will make it...but it didn't happen. A speeding black mercedes that I misjudged sideswipes me and spins me into a pickup, hence the broken left tailight. At first glance at the damage, it's normal to assume that I got T-boned considering the damage, but you will be shocked when I tell you that I got sideswiped and: the street had a THIRTY FIVE mph speed limit. The damage he did to my car from a 45 degree angle easily says he was going at least 50 or 60. I walked away with a black eye and cut on my face. That isn't me in the picture, its the towing company.
I'm not really sure where to go from this point as far as lexus is concerned. I've put alot of money into maintenance (..or you can call it: replacing a ton of **** under my hood to make sure this baby runs a long time). I've been busy stripping this car apart and liquidating the popular parts and selling the engine locally. Honestly, I don't know if I have the mental capacity for maintaining another older used car at the moment, plus with rising gas prices, I may just get something newer. Altima SE-Rs and IS350s have caught my eye lately so I may check it out haha...I really need a 4 door this time.
