My 98 projectors look like this inside.


I still have my stock projectors collecting dust. If you are willing to do some work you might be able to swap it into the 1 bad headlight you have and hopefully achieve your goal.

Any new oem headlight that you order now will have the updated projector.

How do we know that for sure though? There could be OEM lights sitting around on a shelf for 16 years. Is there a new part number with the updated lens? It would be nice to know because I plan on buying one this summer and do the retrofit. My drivers side is already a newer light but I am still not sure if it has the better lens. Thanks for any help on this guys!

Haha yea I guess thats possible. Order the 2000 model ones and call/email the place you are ordering it from and make sure it was produced after 2002.

normally a usdm passenger side headlight should put light out a bit higher, that's normally the problem with JDM headlights here, more light on the drivers side blinding traffic..
