Great looking swap. I can't believe you got it that cheap! Awesome.
What wheels are those? They look great!
thanks man, including the price of the car all of this didn't cost me much.
the wheels are actually mustang saleen wheels, 17x9 up front and 18x10 in the rear, then i had some custom "lexus" centercaps made, they come in great offsets too.
man it sounds awesome! i'll have some vids up soon, right now it's just a 3" downpipe, no cat, and the 3" downpipe has a piece that tapers into my stock exhaust piping.. my turbo's are loud as hell, maybe cause the big intake, all i hear is spooling through the intake when i drive lol, engine runs great though.
Awesome! I don't like it when you can't hear a turbo's BOV/spooling well or at all. It's such an awesome and crazy sound Probably one reason I'd want to have a turbo other than the obvious performance benefit.
nice car man!! did you do all the labor yourself? the way your car looks reminds me of a prelude that lives down the street from me if your looking from behind

I put on my coilovers, and cleared the tails.
I had a local guy that does a bunch of these swaps do my 1j swap, i've been doing the honda thing the last 5 or 6 years so i was kinda leary of doing the 1jz swap, i have never touched a toyota before lol, i know me and some friends could have done it, but i definetly don't think it would have been as clean, and i definetly wanted it to look clean and have powersteering, cruise, and AC so i left it to a toyota guru.
