I have one of the most unique stock (16") wheels for the SC. I've seen them only once before ... on a car being auctioned on Ebay. They look OK but are hard to clean and maintain.

I am thinking of changing them out for another stock wheel-set. I like the older ES wheels and can get them very cheap.

My qyestion for you is if you wanted to stay stock ... what wheels would you choose? They can be any stock Lexus wheel from any product line (ES, IS, SC, etc.)

97 is the best looking stock wheel. It helps to run a spacer with them and you're golden from there. For many reasons they are well liked, but primarily because they resemble supra wheels.

The IS wheels look nice, but are only like 6.5 wide or something. I have a set in my garage that have been collecting dust for a couple years.

I like the 97 wheels like OLT's, as well as the 5 spoke 17x7.5's that came on the IS300 (i believe) and the 5 spoke 17's on GS's. Some of the newer SC430's have a fat 5 spoke 18 that does not have the pie pan, not sure how they would look though.

I agree the 97 5-spokes just go well with the car for that clean stock look.

Supra TT wheels; 5-spoke and 7-spoke SC wheels but the 5-spokes look the best by far; I really like the '02-'06 SC 430 5-spoke (big center caps/hubcaps) on the SC 300/400; Also like the IS 300 5-spoke wheels.

lexus...toyota...same thing...personally i love how supra tt wheels look...just need a nice spacer. just to throw it out there the 300zx wheels look decent and they are super cheap

btw OLT the 97 5 spoke lexus wheels are also 6.5 wide just like the is wheels you mentioned.
