Default hood wont close

today i was cleaning my engine bay and i notice that when i pulled the hood latch softly. it stayed stuck in position i have push it up back i to position but it hangs down. i als check the cable behind it and is tight as can be .i slammed multipale times this is pissin me off cause my battery and stuf are exposed.


can some 1 please help thank u in advance

sit on it. (that's all I got)

or throw some wd40 on it and see if it moves easier.

I had to adjust the hood for it to go down properly.

I had something stuck in the latch once, did the same thing but it stuck closed once it closed. Real PITA to get open again. Check your latch and lube it up.

id really make sure you lube the latch up and see if theres any binding. you might even need to do some adjustment accordingly to your hood. btw are they all [hood,latch,spring,hook] OEM?
