Default My 93 DPW SC300 pics

Hi Everyone,
I don't post often, but last time I posted up a thread asking if the Origin bumper was lower than the vertex, and I said i would do a "test fit" of the kit. I ended up not doing that and instead, just sent it straight to the shop. Here's some pic's for you guys. Enjoy!

Hey, your car looks just like my '93 DWP ... except for the body kit, front end, wheels and the fact that you haven't tinted your windows. Frankly I think it looks great ... but it's a bit too much bling for me personally (I'm an older guy).

Looks good! How was fitment? Did a lot of additional work have to be done? How much did the install/paint end up running?

Thanks! Yeah, my buddy tells me to get spacers all the time, but I plan on saving for some better wheels down the line, Hopefully some VS-KF's.

Thanks a lot! Well the fitment i would say was about a 7.5/10, but after my car came outta the shop, It looks very well fitted! Well, I looked around different shops, the place I went to gave me an awesome deal I couldn't refuse, plus I saw his previous drift cars he did bodywork on. Pm me if you want details.

it looks like an 80s gigolo car, yours is one of the rare ones where no spoiler = good spoiler, I love it. The mouth of the kit looks like a great big gaping black hole to suck up little babies and street signs.

i saw this guy at the milwaukee mile last weekend when i was there for a drift day. he had a 96 sc400 on stances and origin kit. the whole car painted flat black. the kit fitment was great. for some reason his fit like a glove. i talked to him and he said he did minimal fitting. he did the install himself.

the car looks good btw. im not a fan of body kit, of any kind, on our cars though. get some 9.5 or 10" wide wheels with no more then +20 offset and it will look awesome.

this is my car with 18x9.5+20

im planning to go another 1.5" lower...at least. at that point it will tuck the wheels and low teen offsets are perfect
