Another one bites the dust
So my co-worker just bought my 92 SC400 two days ago and last night he was drinking and couldn't drive so he let his sober friend drive them home. Well, not familiar with the car he tried to take it around a corner at about 50mph. This is the end result.

hated to see that, especially a 97+, thankfully he wasn't your friend, isn't that some bs, a guy is drunk and he lets the sober friend drive and he wrecks the car...i'm sure if the drunk guy drove he probably wouldn't have wrecked...very ironic...did he have insurance?

As ironic as it is, the friend did the right thing by being the designated driver -- but if you can't drive for ****, dont do something irresponsible.
Oh well, if they're good friends, it'll all play out.

Well just found out today that they were all drinking. My co-worker said that the driver was sober, however the driver told me he blew a 1.2% when the cops got there. So I just told him not to live in the past, what's done is done, and it's just a good thing nobody was hurt. And then smacked him on the back of the head.

It's good to hear that the story ended happily. Nobody got hurt and the SC will be brought back to life. Another good thing is if you do not claim it through insurance you won't have a salvage title, because they will total it out if you do.
