at least you are not at the hospital..... if you had a complete coverage, a friend of mine was able to get all his aftermarket insured also since he had all his receipts... you should look into that.

Thank you very much for all the kind words.
I can not actually see the car until Tuesday, as I have to wait for the lot to open up (Monday is a Holiday and I'm currently on Duty break). I am deciding whether or not I should total it through insurance, or pay the ticket and pay for the guard rail, and take out a loan on a new car. Gas prices, believe it or not have stayed true to the current inflation rates but car insurance hasn't. Because cars skyrocketed in price, so did the average cost of car insurance. I am afraid to total it out, as I will probably pay through the nose for future insurance, even more so on a Coupe.
I want another SC300, as I have collectively almost 10K in parts and stuff I have been working towards since I got my 300.
Any advice? Anyone been through this situation? Its a 1992 5 Speed, with one minor accident. Will insurance even be worth going with to total the car?

Damn man sorry to hear, you're just begining to have fun with it too. Glad you're ok tho man.
10k in parts?? damn man get another SC for sure man, there are some 5-speed scs around if you are looking for them. If you decide not to get another sc, part out all the parts and atleast get some money back.

Just an advice for your settlement, try to negotiate. Let say the KBB of your car is $6k and your insurance offered you less than that, tell them your car's KBB is $6k not including the mods you've done to it. Also try to buy the vehicle back and part it out.
That's what I did, They gave me $7K for my car and bought it back for only $650... yes $650 with all the aftermarket parts into it.
I was gonna sell my car before I got into an accident and ended up getting alot more than I expected on settlement and part-outs.
You should post pics... if the car's damage more than the car's worth, your insurance will salvage your SC.
