Default Gunmetal Lexus Emblems... what do you think?

So I realized the gold emblems were wicked tacky on my new SC3 so I hope this looks decent for now... hopefully it will last, but I assume I'll have to re-do the job eventually. Sadly, the Lexus was in the process of cracking and I finished the job and the same for the SC 300 but oh well maybe another day.

id hope the census would prefer dark gunmetal over gold emblems haha

it looks nice. i need to do something with mine, i kind of like the gold but either need to get new emblems, or patch a few spots of fading if that's even possible or change to silver emblems, don't think dark emblems would work as well with my color as it would if i had a dark car.

Black Satin works for me: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=336521

My paint is triple metallic black so my car looks like your emblems and my emblems look like your car

Just take a small buffer like a dremel buffer and your favorite metal polish and buff away. Just be sure to secure the emblem and do not apply to much pressure.

The gun metal looks good I like it.

Yeah, I've seen that thread before. That's what I'd do if I decided to go with chrome emblems. Is it hard or a PITA to take the emblems off and put them back on?

its pretty easy considering i dont have much experience with that kind of stuff... i thought about keeping them silver when i sanded the gold down because it had a dark silver look... maybe another day.
