no knocks no nothing besides a little coolant leak from the heater hose, just to lazy to change it..i used to use castrol high milelage but now i use whatever autozone has on sale that's cheap and that is fully sethetic, 5w30...

when i bought it, it already has 200k....i just usually drive to work everyday about 40 miles to and from..but i do go out of town a lot though...
