I'm running 6000k plug and play HIDs for the low beams. Here's some night pics. They look much better at night and when they are on. During the day they look different.

That's why I wanted to see what you all think. Sorry for all the pics lol.

BTW my low beam headlights are JDM soarer ones with the 9005 bulbs.

I'm running the stock 97-98 Fogs with PIAA Amber bulbs. Cherplex has seen them; I never use them since my hids are bright enough and no need for fogs w/o inclement weather.

I like the yellow but it doesnt match up good on your ride because of the color and your rims, if your car had more of a aggressive look then you could pull it off.

I have amber fogs, but was going to go yellow initially. I think the yellow is nice if you keep it clean, but should be HID or may be nasty yellow(not sure though).

The yellow High beam in the clear lense is Baaaad... look at the pic, it just makes my perfectly clear lense look dirty.... the tint of yellow looks like worn lenses. Semmed like it would work, but didnt for me...

My Hid's are the the daylight style 4500K... people want color but the daylight is the brightest of them all... if you want the color then thats obviously self preference, but you can add the color with retrofiitting... =$ but I added color using cheap 2004 M3 projector lenses off ebay, and a lid of a jar for proper spacing creating a proper cutoff line and the colorful prism effect.

I've always loved the yellow HID on the grand prix cars, but it may be just like liking the shades Kanye West wears, sure this fixed up ferarri below can pull it off, but can I? I guess its how you work it and what you like..

The pic of the lights on the wall didnt come out as good as if you were to see it in person. They look yellow, not amber or orange.

I think I might get some new fog lights and put 3000k HIDs. I posted them on here because they had me confused. They look very good when they are on but during the day when they are off, they don't look as clean. So I wanted to see if you all see what I see. And you do.

Maybe I'll do something else to make it work. Up close the fogs look like they came yellow from the factory.

My 3,000k HID Fog lights on my IS300 are by-far my favorite lighting mod.

As soon as we got them (about a year ago when I was at AAC) I installed them. Immediately, dozens of people around the city were picking them up.

As for light output, mixed with my RX330 retrofit (with 4300k bulbs) - the light on the road so closely mimics real daylight, it really pays off to have the right Kelvin temp.

Like I said 1sickSC, its like those Kanye West glasses, thats why i steered from the yellow headlights and stuff, maybe when I have a track car...

Nobleblack... The amber fogs... I used a yellow bulb in 1 and a normal bulb in the other... light shines through the same, had 1 in each and no one could tell the diff... the amber drowns out the light also, I wet sanded it to make it as thin as possible but it really just makes a glow. No projection whatsoever. My goal is one day have 4500k HID's behind that and see if it projects like desired.

End result, they make great daytime running headlights(i have them hooked up for that) no projection but are noticably lit up like breaklights to in day, and at night they just give you "that look" but has no real purpose, except if you have it set so when you hit your alarm they come on to "lighten your girls walkway" like newer nice cars, but yeah, no real purpose.. Ive gotten quite a few compliments though on them.

There is a better way to go that I suggest if anyone wants to go for it... Use the faq on how to remove the lines on your headlights and remove these grooves, and then use the shiny amber tint stuff. i think that would clean.
