Sorry for bumping an old thread..but..i just got done doing my retro 
I pick 3000k HID and Yellow ES300 Projectors!
Took me a while to aim them but it turned out great..pics dont do justice lol

I forget which bulbs I used but in 97+ fogs it doesnt look yellow at all. Im thinking its because of the "textured" design of those fogs because the bulbs look amazing in everyone elses car. I would like to achieve the yellow look without getting an HID kit or painting the lense yellow. any other suggestions for 97+ fogs?

when i just had the 3000k in the fogs, it didnt look yellow, it was like..pee haha I think it is because of the textured lense. Im thinking of delining the lense on my day off to see how they come out..they looked soooo nice with the lense cover off

Looks alot better at night or with the fogs on but during the day I agree with everyone else. Also I think you should disconnect the antenna and leave it down, makes the car look 100x updated!
