Oh man... I Got Jacked Last Night

Sorry to hear about your car man. Some people just don't want to work and save up for nice things. They would just rather go out and steal other people's hard earned *****. If it were up to me I would cut off a finger or hand each time they stole something. Just cut off a finger and be done with it. No need to waste money on them putting them up in the county hotel. Only in America can you commit a crime and be punished with a warm bed, 3 meals, and a chance to get a education. None of the $100 fine/slap on the wrist crap. The system stinks..!! Sorry again man.

For sure Tony, thanks
Though it is probably the "cool" thing to be rebellious and be anti-law enforcement, and despite many bad ones that are probably worst than the scums that they are hired to bust, I have always held law-enforcement profession in high regards. Yea, they seem to be up on the case calling me back and such
I don't think so. Most cars at the meet were better than mine anyways. But, should that be the case, CL has deteriorated to the lowest level LOL. You can't even bring an Integra Type-R to the Eibach Meet for fear of getting jacked. Couple years ago, my buddy with an ITR almost got his car jacked at the meet but the Clifford 3.5 alarm that I sold to him right before the meet saved his car
Its funny because to the West of my apartments are nice condos behind the Walgreens. To the South, across the street, in your neighborhood are super nice houses. Heck the neighborhood over there looks like Fountain Valley or Mission Viejo. The residential neighborhood behind me is relatively nice and quiet as well. So, where are these hoodlums from? Heck I must be insulated from all four sides.
Given the descriptions of the suspects, I don't think they even know what the EDFC is. Odd thieves they are. I can't even believe that they took the front half of my unit, along with the screen. That thing is useless. If I was in their pitiful shoes, I would just dumped the broken screen and faceplate.
The shades they took from me. Can't see any cholos/cholas rockin them.
If California had lenient gun laws like Florida, then that would be awesome. Speaking of guns, one of my former neighbors who lived across from me across from the back alley had his garage broken into by some two cholos in broad daylight. The guy is like an white biker guy who works graveyard so hes home all day. He was awaken by them making noises so he walked downstairs with a compact .45 his pocket. The two guys saw him and literally begged for their life, "Sir sir, please dont shoot, please dont shoot!" and begged for him to call the cops on them. LOL
1. Im thinking of either getting another IVA-D900 display if it goes for cheap on eBay and install it. It should be plug and play since they left the busted unit in the car.
2. Get a cheap Eclipse or Alpine CD Player
3. Or save up and get a nice Eclipse flip out but Im scared of thieves
But for the meantime, I'll try to enjoy my Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust
Why? It is not like they are white collar criminals or someone higher up in organized crime hierarchy and enjoy living the high life. They are dirt bags who live pitiful lives day by day, knowing that their lives are going nowhere. I hope they drag out their miserable lives for as long as they can and then die graveless and penniless. Death is the easy way out

Pathetic sons of *****es, i deal with credit card frauds every week at my work place. If it was me, i would get a map out and make marks of where the crime happened and where they purchased those items. Hang around in that area, notify the police if you find them.
Good Luck,
Good Luck,

The same exact thing happened to me, i came home from grocery shopping left my doors unlocked (1st time ever after getting my 2way viper system). All my alpine trunk set up was stolen along with my Ipod. I felt so dumb, but got over it.

sorry to hear about what happened Jerry. =(
I am glad you are doing some detective work..
After someone stole my cc number and rang up 15k in charges, I had to do some investigating myself and actually found the person online advertising stolen cc cards.
Hope it all works out bro.

that really sucks man! I'm glad to hear that you were able to get things resolved in a very short time. Mad props for being resourceful in helping catch the people who jacked you. It's the worst feeling to have someone break into your car and steal something you worked hard to get. I've had a system stolen before too and your heart feels like it drops into your stomach, which then drops into your shoes.
Good luck with rebuilding it, it shouldn't be too bad. I would personally stay away from the Eclipse flip outs...they really haven't made a good one that's worth their high price in years.
